Our recent getaway to Nusa Dua Beach in Bali was nothing short of idyllic.
As soon as we arrived, we knew we had stumbled upon a slice of paradise.
Beach Bliss
Nusa Dua Beach is renowned for its pristine white sands and crystal-clear waters, and we were eager to dive right in. The beach stretches over 5 kilometers, offering ample space to relax, swim, or take part in various water sports. We spent our days lounging under palm trees, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the gentle waves that lap at the shore.
One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to try out some exciting water activities. We took a thrilling jet ski ride and later went snorkeling in the nearby coral reefs, where we were greeted by colorful fish and vibrant marine life.
Nusa Dua Beach is well-equipped with water sports rentals and instructors, and most activities are available throughout the day, generally from 8 AM to 5 PM. Prices for these activities vary; expect to pay around $50 USD for a jet ski rental and $30 USD for a snorkeling tour.
Attractions and Entertainment
Beyond the beach itself, Nusa Dua offers a range of attractions that keep us entertained. We visited the Bali Collection, a large shopping and dining complex with an array of boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. It’s a great place to pick up souvenirs or enjoy a leisurely meal with a view of the ocean. The complex is open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM, and we enjoyed exploring the various shops and eateries.
Another must-see is the Nusa Dua Waterblow, where the waves crash against the rocks and create spectacular sprays of water. The best time to witness this natural phenomenon is during high tide, and it’s a short walk from the main beach area.
Luxurious Stay
For a luxurious retreat, we stayed at the St. Regis Bali Resort, located just a short stroll from Nusa Dua Beach. This opulent resort provided us with breathtaking views of the ocean and access to an exclusive beach area. The St. Regis features beautifully appointed villas with private pools, a world-class spa, and multiple dining options that cater to every palate.
Room rates at The St. Regis start at approximately $600 USD per night, reflecting the high-end experience and exceptional service provided. We particularly enjoyed the resort’s tranquil ambiance, which perfectly complemented our beachside adventure.
Lykkers, our time at Nusa Dua Beach was a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement. From lounging on the sandy shores to exploring local attractions and indulging in luxury accommodations, every moment was a reminder of Bali’s natural beauty and charm. If you’re looking for a destination that offers both adventure and tranquility, Nusa Dua Beach is a must-visit!
