Established in 1981, Papaya Studio has a rich history spanning 36 years. Within its expansive 5,000 square meter warehouse, founder Mr. Tong has painstakingly curated a collection of over 100,000 pieces from around the globe. Each item has been carefully selected and lovingly restored, finding its new home amidst the warehouse's iron-clad walls.

Papaya Studio is divided into three main sections. The first floor houses a diverse array of vintage miscellaneous goods, while the second floor boasts electronic audio equipment, music gear, and more vintage furniture. However, it's the third floor that truly captures the imagination, aptly dubbed "Mr. Tong's Vintage Fantasy Museum," a paradise for vintage toy enthusiasts.

The store's inventory spans a vast array of categories, including vintage furniture from different eras, ashtrays, motorcycles, radios, children's cars, bathtubs, bicycles, glassware, birdcages, typewriters, Chinese collectibles, carpets, lamps, neon signs, game consoles, paintings, dressing mirrors, suitcases, and an assortment of nostalgic memorabilia.

However, the classification is merely a general overview, as each category encompasses a plethora of items. For instance, the music and sound equipment section features pianos, electronic keyboards, stereos, radios, guitars, bass guitars, drums, and cassette players.

Some items are not available for sale to the public, as they are reserved exclusively for movie or magazine shoots, serving as a visual feast for visitors.
